Obtain Your X.509 Digital Certificate This certificate verifies your identity and secures your electronic notarizations. |

Create Your Electronic Notary Seal Your seal includes your official notary details and is applied to digital documents during notarization. This will be created during the notary registration process. |

Upload Your X.509 Certificate Once you receive your certificate, follow the platform instructions to upload it securely. This will be added during the notary registration process. |

Start Performing RON Transactions With both your certificate and seal active, you are fully equipped to begin notarizing online. |

Your electronic seal is included at no cost through ProNotary. |
We do not allow notaries to upload their own seal. |
Common Questions
Q: Why do I need an X.509 certificate from IdenTrust?
A: This is a legal requirement for notaries to conduct RON transactions and ensures documents cannot be altered after signing.
Q: Is the electronic seal the same as my digital certificate?
A: No. The certificate is your secure digital identity, while the seal functions as your notary stamp. Both are required.
Q: Do I need to pay extra for my X.509 certificate?

Q: Do I need to pay extra for my seal with ProNotary?
